Rihanna has revealed she will record a single with JLS this year.
The Umbrella singer – who performed her hit single with the band live on The X Factor 2008 semi-final – told The Sun her manager Jay-Z is keen to work with Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Oritse Williams and JB Gill, and she believes Beyonce and Kanye West will collaborate with them too.
Rihanna said: “Working with JLS is something that will happen this year – Jay will make stars out of them.”

The singer Jay Sean spoke with the American Magazine U.S. Magazine and mentioned he wants to record a possible collaboration with Rihanna in the future.
UsMagazine: Are there artists that you would like to work with in the future?
Jay: Rihanna is probably in the top of my list. Beyoncé and Rihanna, those are the two artists with whom I’d love to work with.
UsMagazine: Have you talked with any of them about it?
Jay: I did, actually. Me and Rihanna talked to about it twice. Once, she came to my party in London and talked about it, then I saw her again at the Grammys. Hopefully our schedules will allow.
Rude Boy has risen four places to its new peak of #4 on the Billboard Hot 100! This makes it her ninth top five hit and her fourteenth top ten. It has also risen sixteen places to #24 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart, three places to #4 on the Eurochart Hot 100 and three places on the Canadian Hot 100 to #18.
Hard has fallen from thirty four to #51 on the Billboard Hot 100 and from fifty two to #57 on the Canadian Hot 100.
Rated R has fallen from fourteen to #22 on the Billboard 200. However, it has sold no less copies than last week, selling around 24,000 copies this week, bringing the current total to 712,000 copies sold only in the United States!
